TBF 2023-2024 Annual Tag & Release Competition

We wanted to say congratulations for your accomplishments in TBF’s 2023-2024 Annual Tag & Release Competition. Reaching the milestone as one of the top five anglers or captains in any category of our international competition is no small feat and you should be proud of what you’ve achieved. We hope you’ll continue reporting billfish during this upcoming competition year and will let us know how TBF can help you in your efforts to achieve greater billfish conservation.
For the upcoming 2025-2026 competition, TBF will be introducing a brand new category referred to as “TBF Legends”. Essentially a new level for our top-tiered anglers, this category will allow TBF to commemorate those anglers who go above and beyond the call for billfish reporting, while also providing new anglers the opportunity to compete in our annual competition categories. TBF’s decision to implement this prestigious tier underscores our commitment to conservation efforts within the sportfishing community while highlighting more anglers that have enabled TBF’s database to grow into the largest, open-sourced billfish database on the planet.
